Daniel ran after her.
“Sarah please! Don’t do this! We can fix it!”
She stopped.
Without turning around, she said:
“No, Daniel.”
Her voice was calm… but final.
“You broke something that doesn’t get fixed.”
She opened the door.
The rain had stopped.
And for the first time…
She felt nothing.
No pain.
No tears.
Just freedom.
She walked away.
